THE PERFECT FIND

The main title sequence for Netflix’s film The Perfect Find, is a visual depiction of the rise and fall of the lead character, Jenna Jones. Using an animated collage approach that reflects a fashion editor’s mood board, the sequence portrays Jenna’s career and relationship arcs as they both follow similar paths of highs and lows. The inclusion of nods to classic Hollywood and music icons, as well as high-end fashion brands and fashionable New York locations, creates a sophisticated and stylish vibe that captures the circles Jenna once traveled in. Overall, the sequence was an opportunity to effectively set up the tone and backstory of the film in a fun, stylish and dynamic way. The same motif was reprised for the end crawl in order to bookend the film within a single cohesive visual package.
