THE MACHINE

Stand-up comedian Bert Kreischer is a social media phenomenon. His best known routine, “The Machine,” which recounts his legendary exploits in Russia as a visiting college student, was a viral video sensation, garnering over forty million hits on YouTube. So when we were asked to create a main on end for his new, semi-autobiographical movie, The Machine, it seemed more than apt to use the language of social media as the vehicle that could best express Kreischer’s excess, his popular appeal, the crazy and dizzying heights he’s scaled, and the toll this fame has exacted.
