Robin Hood

Client

In the new reimagining of the Robin Hood legend, “the Hood” is seen as a revolutionary who fights against a corrupt, greedy government. The film takes place in a period that resembles the Middle Ages, but with many anachronistic touches. This interpretation of the time period enabled us to create a kind of “medieval comic book” that tells the Hood legend in a graphic woodcut style. The style is partly inspired by the woodcut Wanted posters in the film, but also incorporates the idea of Medieval street art, relating to the grassroots movement that Robin Hood inspires in the people. The comic book frames the movie with an Main Title at the start, and a Main on End sequence at the end.
