For CBS Studio’s Boston Blue, yU+co designed a main title sequence that celebrates the spirit of Boston through motion, reflection, and light. The concept builds the show’s identity from the architecture of the city itself — glass and steel facades that act as mirrors, catching glimpses of iconic landmarks and emotional moments from the series. The camera moves fluidly through the city, blending realism and design to create a sense of rhythm, energy, and authenticity.
As the sequence unfolds, the tone shifts from bright daylight to a glowing sunset, echoing the balance of action, comedy, and heart that defines the show. Letterform structures slowly align within the skyline, revealing the Boston Blue logo as a natural extension of the city. The result is a title that feels cinematic yet grounded — a seamless fusion of place, story, and character that captures Boston’s pulse and the series’ unique perspective.
