Hijack is a thriller series following the 7-hour flight of a hijacked plane. To set the stage for the tense, suspenseful show, the opening uses the visual language of digital flight tracking graphics. Amidst a sea of flights tracked by air traffic control, we follow a single line that turns from white to red: our hijacked plane. After navigating the complex web of airline numbers across multiple countries, the chaos of digital I.D.s coalesce to form the show’s logo.
