Topps 2026 Series 1

To celebrate the 75th anniversary of Topps Baseball, yU+co created a cinematic journey through the history and future of the game, set within a faceted diamond world populated by historic and unforgettable baseball cards. The film moves through immersive, architectural environments that feel part museum, part memory palace—where iconic cards and legendary plays are presented as  installations inside a living archive of the sport. Historic highlights and commentator calls echo through the crystalline space as the camera glides across generations of players, honoring the moments that shaped baseball and the culture surrounding the card itself.

As the piece progresses, the environment evolves from reverent and classical to kinetic and contemporary, transitioning into a dynamic diamond world where new stars and new cards form in real time. The film culminates in a journey through a crystalline logo structure, and as the camera travels through, we see new cards being added and settling into its walls—an ever-growing monument to the game. The result is both a tribute and a forward-looking statement, blending motion design, editorial storytelling, and spatial world-building to celebrate 75 years of collecting, fandom, and baseball history.
