The Little Mermaid

The Main on End for Disney's new, live-action version of The Little Mermaid is a fun and somewhat whimsical voyage to Ariels watery haunts deep beneath the sea. Working closely with acclaimed director Rob Marshall, the CG vignettes sparkle with that special blend of wonder, beauty, and puckish charm that delights both young and old. The sequence itself is a deft recapping of Ariel's story: we slowly begin to work our way upwards, toward the surface, where we ultimately find the old captain's ship, and then above it, the sky brilliantly lit with fireworks.
