LA County Fair

yU+co was asked to create a spot for the 2019 LA County Fair coinciding with the theme “Fair Goes POP”, a celebration of pop culture. We shot, edited and animated this commercial that features the fair mascot, Thummer, taking friends to the fairgrounds for a day of food, rides and music. The style is heavily influenced by Pop Art greats like Warhol, Lichtenstein and Rauschenberg, brought to life in a kinetic visual mashup set to a custom song, “Hey Thummer.”
