Apple TV’s ‘For All Mankind’ again launches with an era-defining montage that mixes the real with the speculative to create a seemingly plausible alternative history. For this, the fifth season, we jump ten years ahead—to the 2010s—condensing the major geopolitical, technological, and cultural shifts of the decade and merging them with the season’s main storylines.

Unlike prior seasons, the montage is entirely digital—no analog artifacts—with more advanced broadcast graphics and a stronger emphasis on electronic media, reflecting the decline of print and a shift in how information is produced and consumed.
