AMERICAN NIGHT

For “American Night”, yU+co was approached to help package the film and develop a main on end title sequence inspired by the modern art central to the heist film’s narrative. Using scenes from throughout the film, we treated the images in styles reminiscent of famous contemporary artists like Andy Warhol, Francis Bacon, and David Hockney. Using the thundering tune of Wolfmother’s “Joker and the Thief” as a backbone, our edit is propulsive and exciting as we weave through dynamic and transgressive moments in the post-modern narrative to create a memorable sequence.
